Chapter 441 Searching For Inspiration
The editor-in-chief had no choice but to walk over and ask, "What's the matter, Fay?"
Lenora showed her the photos in her camera, saying, "The angles aren't right; the pictures didn't turn out well."
The editor-in-chief glanced at the photo, flipping through a few more pages, then looked up at her in confusion. "Isn't this quite good?"
Lenora replied, "Is it really?"
""Why not?"
"What's good about this?"
"Are you perhaps setting the bar too high for yourself? Why not let Mr. Charlton see for himself?"
Lenora paused for a moment, then lifted her gaze to Zachary. "Come take a look."
Zachary rose to his feet and strolled over before trailing her gaze toward the photo in the camera. He chuckled. "Not bad, Fay, your skills are impressive."
Wyatt walked over and glanced at the photo. Hmm?
This model is so good looking that no one can take a bad photo of him. How can one even tell that the photographer's skills are impressive? Ah, Mr. Charlton is just being nice. "Tell the truth."
"I am telling the truth."
Lenora fell silent, pursing her lips. Could it be that I'm the one with the problem?
She still felt that Zachary didn't look good in the photo.
Even then, he was still undeniably handsome and dapper. Yet she somehow felt that the photo failed to capture his real-life charm.
Is it because I'm too familiar with Zachary? How well do I really know him?
To put it dramatically, she was so familiar with Zachary that she would recognize him even if he turned to ashes.
Throughout her high school and college years, Zachary's face often made its way into her dreams in various way.
Whenever he made an appearance, her gaze would invariably find its way to him.
They later shared a bed for three more years, leaving her intimately familiar with every detail of him.
The more familiar one became, the more they could spot the flaws of the person in the photograph.
It was just like how some photo editors could never satisfy their clients.
Without a doubt, Zachary's features were extraordinarily handsome. Regardless of who took his photograph, his inherent good looks were undeniable and no one could make him appear otherwise. However, the photo of Zachary simply didn't do him justice, failing to fully capture the stunning essence of his features.
Lenora said, "You should sit back down first. Let me try and get some inspiration first."
"Alright."
Zachary settled back down into his chair.
Lenora picked up the camera and took a straight-on shot of his face.
She magnified the photo for a closer look and instantly felt that no fancy angle could compare to his handsome face in full view.
Lenora turned to Wyatt and the editor-in-chief and asked, "How many photos do you need?"
"Four to five," Wyatt replied. "Can you handle it or not? If you can't, we'll find someone else."
"Of course I can. Don't worry."
Holding the camera, Lenora said to Zachary, "Now, let's take another picture without a smile... Imagine the expression you'd have when you see your ex-wife's boyfriend... Just like that, perfect." Wyatt was rendered speechless.
It was the first time he had seen a photographer guide a subject that way.
Lenora's current attitude toward Zachary was akin to how one would treat their own child, wanting others to see his very best side.
She planned to take four photos, each with a different outfit, angle, and background.
The front-facing photo was acceptable as the first, but there three more were still needed.
Lenora walked over and stood just a step ahead of Zachary, meticulously studying his face. She would shift to his left, then to his right, clearly intent on finding the angle that pleased her the most. "After all these years, you still haven't seen enough?" Zachary chuckled softly, speaking in a low voice.
Lenora interrupted, "Stop right there. Keep that smile for the photo later."
Zachary was rendered speechless.
"Let's change the backdrop, and switch up the jacket too."
The assistant immediately found a black suit from the bag and handed it over to Zachary to put on. They then moved over to the neighboring set to take photos.
Lenora guided Zachary, "Smile, just like you did a moment ago, one that's genuine... Good, that's it."
Lenora enlarged the photo, examining the details closely. She then found it acceptable.
"Take off your jacket. Let's go over there to take pictures."
Wyatt was taken aback. "You're changing backdrops already? But you've barely taken any shots!"
"We only need four photos. There's no need to take too many."
"What if Mr. Charlton can't pick any out of the four?"
"He'll definitely find one he likes."
In the third picture, Zachary was seated on the couch.
Lenora wanted to take a full-body picture, so she said, "Just be natural. Don't be too stiff. Sit as you usually do."
Looking at the photo where Zachary's long legs had no place to rest, Lenora nodded in satisfaction.
"Now, the next location."
Wyatt exclaimed, "So soon?"
""Mmm-hmm."
The remaining backdrops didn't appeal to Lenora. After some thought, she suggested to Zachary, "Let's take the pictures outside instead; maybe one inside the car." "Alright."
""Where is your car?"
"In the underground parking lot."
Lenora turned around and asked the editor-in-chief and Wyatt, "Are any of your cars parked in front of the building?"
"Use mine. Please use mine," the editor-in-chief offered. "It was just washed a few days ago."
Several crew members picked up some reflector boards and headed down together.
Zachary sat in the driver's seat, lowering the car window most of the way.
"Look this way, and focus on the expression in your eyes. Pretend he's your ex-wife's boyfriend." Lenora pointed toward Wyatt, who was stunned by the suggestion. After taking the last shot, Lenora meticulously reviewed the four selected photos one more time, ensuring nothing was overlooked. "Alright, that's a wrap." "That's it?" Wyatt asked skeptically as he approached and opened the car door for Zachary.
"Mmm-hmm."
Wyatt was unconvinced, yet he managed a smile at Zachary, saying, "Mr. Charlton, let's go upstairs to select the photos." Zachary cast a glance at Lenora before doing so.
Back in the reception room, Lenora
uploaded the photos to her computer. She carefully selected four of his best shots and grouped them together. Glancing at Zachary, she said, "I think these four are the best." en

Wyatt furrowed his brows. "Mr. Charlton will choose, not you."
What's up with this photographer? Why is she acting so strangely? But I don't deny these four photos are indeed pretty good. Zachary said, "I like these four; let's go with them."
Wyatt was taken aback.
Fine. I had better stop commenting.
"Guess I'll head back and edit the photos then." Lenora closed her laptop and began to pack up her bag.
"Wait a moment, Fay," Zachary said. "Why don't we all have lunch together? We'll also have the two editors-in-chief join us." Without hesitation, Wyatt quickly agreed, "Mr. Charlton, thank you for your generous offer. It would be rude of me to refuse." Seeing Lenora remain silent, Wyatt urged in a low voice, "Aren't you going to accept quickly? This is such a rare opportunity!" Lenora turned to look at Zachary, meeting his earnest gaze, and agreed, "Alright then."
Wyatt recommended an Epean restaurant, and Zachary had his assistant reserve ok a private room.
The server brought over four menus to the table, placing one in front of each person.
Zachary didn't open it. Instead, he glanced at Lenora, then said to the three of them, "Feel free to order; it's on me."
Wyatt politely said, "Thank you, Mr. Charlton."
"Classic Cobb salad with cream
cheese dressing, Archulean sirloin steak, peppercorn sauce, pasta bolognese, tiramisu, and Moscato wine, Lenora instructed the waiter. en
Wyatt was rendered speechless.
What on earth is wrong with this photographer? She has no sense of social etiquette at all! During the meal, Wyatt and the editor-in-chief were steering the conversation. Lenora was constantly eating, making sure nothing went to waste.
As she ate, she pondered.noveldrama
Now that my fake boyfriend is gone, how can I ensure Zachary learns his lesson? Yesterday, he had setup Richard and even felt righteous about it, and today, he concealed his identity to become my photography subject. As always, he acts O unilaterally, showing no regard to others. Had he not been up to these tricks, I might have already told him the truth.
