Jaden walked into his father's company with a cup of coffee in his hand. It's been weeks since he had let go of Emma, and it still hurts. He took a sip of his coffee as he strolled down to his father's office with an envelope in his hand, ignoring the greetings of the workers. There was no need to interact with anyone since today would be his last day there.

Knocking once, he stepped inside his father's office, bowed slightly, and dropped the envelope on the table.

He hadn't been active at work, but he had decided to make it formal and give Jake the peace of mind he had been scrambling for.

But Jaden was done with everyone and everything. He just wanted to live his life in silence for the rest of his life.

He raced to his apartment and began packing his bags, which took him several hours to do.

But as he was loading them into his car, a car pulled up to his garage, and Jeremy, Jaden's younger brother as well as the Fernandos' youngest son, stepped out of his car, his face filled with anger and disbelief.

"You can't be serious!" He thundered as he approached Jaden.

"Watch me and see."

"Mom called, says you are leaving. Dad is in a bad mood."

"He will get over it, and you..." Jaden scoffed. "Why do you suddenly care? I'm sure you're jumping on the inside now that I'm leaving."

Jeremy was Jake's errand boy; he was the most submissive of the Fernandos' boys. Jaden was sure that the only reason why Jeremy had even shown up at all was because Jake had sent him to confirm his departure. "What do you mean?" Jeremy asked, his tone filled with hurt and a hint of anger.

"You can go and tell him that it's true. I have no interest in fighting over his inheritance. Jaden spat out with disgust. He had never had interest in the company. He had only said those words to hurt Jake, who always thinks he is above all others. "What are you talking about?"

."Mom was the one who sent me here. She is on her way here herself."

"Tell her to turn back. I will be long gone before she arrives." He replied as he opened his car door.

jaden stepped inside his car and zoomed away, looking at Jeremy through the side mirror until he turned the corner. With him gone, no one will feel hurt again, and his four brothers could live in harmony they've always sought.
