Luna Aurora novel (Alpha Fenrir)

Alpha Fenrir and Aurora Chapter 357

Dain stood in the heart of the shadowed forest, a flickering darkness swirling at his feet. The Warden of Shadows watched him closely, a figure as enigmatic as the void itself, his presence a constant reminder of the power Dain was learning to wield. "Focus," the Warden instructed, his voice sharp yet hypnotic. "The shard's energy is boundless, but it requires precision. Use it to reach their minds-bend their will to yours."

Dain closed his eyes, summoning the shard's power. A pulse of shadow rippled from him, spreading out like an invisible net. A lone wolf stood nearby, trembling as the energy coiled around it.

"You're stronger than fear," Dain said, his voice calm but commanding. "You will follow me, not because you fear me, but because you have no choice."

The wolf's eyes glazed over, its resistance crumbling as it knelt before him. Dain opened his eyes, a glint of satisfaction in his gaze.

The Warden smiled faintly. "Good. You're beginning to understand. Control is not about loyalty it's about inevitability. Soon, even the strongest minds will bow to you."

Dain clenched his fists, feeling the shard's power thrumming through him. "They will all bow. Even Elyra."

Far away, Elyra sat in Selene's secluded sanctuary, the moonlight casting a soft glow over the stone altar at the center of the clearing. Selene stood beside her, holding an ancient tome bound in silver and etched with lunar symbols.

"This ritual," Selene began, her voice grave, "is forbidden for a reason. It will strengthen your bond with the Moon Goddess, but it will also test you. The power you seek always comes at a cost."

Elyra looked at Selene, her doubt evident. "And if I fail?"noveldrama

Selene closed the book, meeting Elyra's gaze. "Then the shadows will claim you, just as they claimed him."

Cassian stepped forward from the shadows, his expression firm. "This is too dangerous, Elyra. You've already seen what the shard has done to Dain. There's a fine line between strength and corruption." Elyra took a deep breath, her mind racing. She thought of the packs Dain had already taken, the ruins of the Riverstone camp, and the chilling message he'd left behind.

"If I don't do this," she said, her voice steady, "there won't be anything left to fight for. I can't let him win."

Cassian hesitated, then nodded reluctantly. "If you're going to do this, then we'll make sure you don't face it alone."

Selene stepped forward, guiding

Elyra to the altar. "Kneel," she

instructed. Focus on the light within you, on the strength that has always been yours. The Moon Goddess will show you the way-but you must be prepared for what you'll see

Elyra knelt, closing her eyes as Selene began chanting in a language older than time. The air around her grew heavy, shimmering with an otherworldly glow. As the ritual intensified, Elyra felt a surge of energy coursing through her, pulling her into a vision.

The battlefield stretched endlessly before her, a sea of chaos and destruction. Wolves clashed, their howls echoing in the distance, but her gaze was drawn to the figure at the center.

Dain stood atop a jagged cliff,

cloaked in shadows so thick they seemed alive. His eyes glowed with an unnatural light, the shard pulsing in his chest as if it had fused

completely with him. At his feet lay the fallen, and behind him, an army of shadow wolves knelt in unwavering allegiance.

Elyra tried to call out to him, but her voice was lost in the cacophony of the battlefield. Dain turned his gaze toward her, his expression cold and unrecognizable.

"You can't stop this, sister," his voice echoed, dark and resonant. "This is who I've become. This is who I've always been."

The vision shattered, and Elyra gasped, the energy of the ritual leaving her breathless. She opened her eyes to find Selene and Cassian kneeling beside her, concern etched into their faces. "What did you see?" Selene asked, her voice urgent.

Elyra struggled to steady her breathing, her hands trembling. "Dain... he's unstoppable. He's... gone."

-: Elyra's voice faltered as the shard in her chest began to glow faintly, whispering in her mind: "He's waiting for you."
