Chasing My Pregnant Wife



Theodore and Justin rushed to the hospital where Christopher was waiting.

He wasn't the only one there, and Sebastian was standing right behind him.

Theodore looked grave. He had quite a major conflict with Sebastian over Rosalie's child.

"Mr. Jackson, what brings you here?" Theodore said, completely ignoring Sebastian.

Sebastian stood at a side, gazing coldly at Theodore. He didn't seem very perturbed, but his eyes were cold and calculating as usual.

"I'm here to visit your mother," Christopher explained. "I know what happened. I know something happened to Rose."

"I also know about your relationship with my mom," Theodore said coldly. "I have nothing to say about you coming to see her, but what does what happened to Rose have anything to do with you? Just because she married your nephew?"

"Theodore, I didn't come here to pick a fight with you. Do you want to find Rose or not? The more hands on deck we have, the better. I can activate more resources for a comprehensive search. Do you want my help or not?"

One more person searching for Rosalie was naturally a good thing to Theodore, but that hostile look in Sebastian's eyes gave him a strange feeling about everything.

"Theodore, I told my uncle about this because I wanted one more person helping to find Rose. Do you really care about her? Or are you disregarding my uncle's power and influence just because of our rivalry? That's too selfish of you."

Sebastian's words were piercing to Theodore's head. He had done so much for Rosalie's sake, but it all amounted to just selfishness in Sebastian's words. He naturally disagreed with Sebastian's claims.

But they were at the hospital right now, and it wasn't appropriate for him to lose his cool in a public place like this.

"Sebastian Carter, you know best

which of the two of us is the truly selfish one. Those with eyes can see, too. I won't argue with you over that." Theodore then turned his attention to Christopher. "Do you genuinely want to find Rose, or are you doing it just to help your nephew and you'll end up doing what he tells you to when you find Rose?"

Christopher frowned, but he soon said solemnly, "I genuinely want to find Rose. To avoid any misunderstanding, I can tell you the truth. Rose is my biological niece."

Theodore was stunned. "What did you say?"

"I had Rosalie's background checked. She isn't her parents' biological child and was adopted. managed to find out that she is my elder brother's illegitimate daughter, whom he had no choice but to send away because of certain reasons."

Theodore immediately added, "Rose had been trying to find her birth parents. Turns out that she's a member of the Jackson family."

It finally made sense why she had that bracelet.

"It's a long story," Christopher said. "What's most important now is to find Rose. Everything else can wait. We need to work together."

Christopher picked up a folder from the table and handed it to Theodore.

"This is information I found on Rose. Her mother passed away when she was very young and she grew up in an orphanage. A huge fire hit the e orphanage she stayed in and many people died from it, including the director and many staff members. If I guessed it right, Yerick was

Theodore pulled out some papers from the folder and read through them. Christopher managed to find quite a lot of information regarding Yerick.

He sent someone to investigate Yerick too, but he didn't manage to find much, and certainly not as much as Christopher did.

Christopher went on, "I have reason to suspect that he's targeting the Spencers. He might very well be behind Sydney getting shot. Your mom needs to be transferred as soon as possible."
